Have you ever been to an event at the Chico Women's Club? If you have lived in Chico for any length of time, the answer is likely yes! This iconic historic building hosts weddings, concerts, dance classes, storytelling events, business meetings, craft fairs, fundraisers, and the list goes on. Did you know that the Chico Women's Club is a non-profit organization that is soon to celebrate its 112th birthday? A big part of what the board of trustees for the club do is maintain the building so that it can be utilized by the community for generations to come! This summer, we recognized it was time to replace our beautiful 93-year-old wood floors. The new floor turned out wonderfully and is ready for 100 more years of dancing, celebrating, learning, and creating with the Chico community! And so dear community, we are reaching out to you to support the club to be able to support you! The floors cost $27,000. We are planning to recoup that through various fundraising efforts... one of them being this GoFundMe! So please donate if you are able and share widely!
