About CWC
Established in 1913, the Chico Women’s Club has long stood as a cornerstone of community, culture, and connection in Chico. Our historic clubhouse, lovingly preserved and maintained, has welcomed generations of members and guests for gatherings that celebrate art, music, civic engagement, and fellowship.
Rooted in a legacy of service and stewardship, the Club was founded by women dedicated to creating a space where ideas could be shared, traditions honored, and progress encouraged. Over the decades, it has remained a place where the community comes together — to learn, to celebrate, and to support one another.
Today, the Chico Women’s Club continues to uphold this proud tradition, offering its' historic venue as a gathering place for cultural events, educational programs, and private celebrations. With a century of history behind us, we remain committed to fostering connection, preserving heritage, and enriching the civic and cultural life of our community.
