The Chico Women's Club offers artists, performers, teachers, organizations and individuals the opportunity to lease the premises at an hourly or daily rate, based on availability.

Check with our rental agent, Sara Rose, at 530-894-1978 for the most current information on availability or to make arrangements for rentals. The online calendar is updated at the beginning of each month.

Available space & seating:

Interior seating space is 30' x 35' with a maximum capacity of 220 people.
Auditorium capacity is 180 people.
Dining capacity is 100 people.

The stage is 18´ x 17´ 3".
The outdoor patio is 25' off the building and 32' wide (additional fee applies).

Furniture & Kitchen

  • 12 - 5' round tables
  • 6 - 6' rectangular tables
  • 2 - 8' rectangular tables
  • 24 card tables
  • 3 occasion tables: rectangular 5.5' x 2.5', round 4', oval 4' x 2.5'
  • 180 Black padded folding chairs with fanbacks and storage dollies
  • 40 green patio chairs
  • Kitchen with 4-burner stove, double oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, 2 sinks, and 3 large garbage cans

Equipment

  • A podium with a microphone and amplifier
  • Sound system: speakers and an amplifier, CD player, two microphones: one wireless and one wired. (Would service one guitar player, or speaker, or dance instructor)
  • WiFi
  • A beautiful Grand Piano

The fee schedule is as follows:

  • Monday - Thursday before 5 PM: $20 per hour
  • Monday - Thursday after 5 PM: $35 per hour
  • Regular Class rates: $10 per hour during the day and $15 per hour after 5 PM
    (must meet at least twice a month to be considered regular)
  • Half day (weekend): 8 hours: $500, $50 for each additional hour
  • Full day (weekend) 6 AM - Midnight: $900
  • Cost is $1000 if full day plus half of the next day is used for cleanup
  • Weekend: $1250 for two full days; $1500 for three full days
  • Use of outside patio and lawn area, additional fee of $20
  • Events that are sponsored by non-profits for fundraising or community education/outreach qualify for Sunday $10 per hour rate.

Deposits range from $50 to $200 depending on the day and time rented.

Discounts apply to sustainable events. Sustainable events must meet 7 of the following criteria to qualify:

  • Washable dishes
  • Washable glasses
  • Washable silverware
  • Cloth napkins
  • Cloth tablecloths
  • Recyclable liquid containers
  • Organic food
  • Locally grown food
  • Compostable plates
  • Compostable silverware
  • Compostable cups
  • Non-throw away decorations (determined by Sara Rose)
  • Locally grown flowers
  • Appropriate recycling (checked by Sara Rose at end of event)

Children under 18 must be supervised both inside and outside the Club.
